Nightclubs often require jazzy, modern lighting and special effects, such as flashing lights of many colors, moving light beams and smoke machines. Focus shows the concentration of directing the audience to the stage area, or disturb them from others. "Mood" means the tone of the views or the environment. For example, a hard red light has a totally different effect than soft lavender light. Light colors can also achieve the desired effect of describing the time. Blues usually indicates night while orange and red can imply sunrise or sunset. Lighting can also be used to project a certain view, or for acting as the scenery on stage. special effects can be used to indicate the stage area, which a designer wants the audience to see.
